I've been unbelievably diligent over the past few days.  Since Friday, I have succeeded in grading not one, but two sets of 2 page reading logs... which is a total of 130 or so papers, give or take a few, since not everyone turned in their homework.  Each set usually takes me about 3-4 days to grade; I've managed to get these done in under half the ( Read more... )

My insomnia has reached a fever pitch - I went to bed last night around 9:45 pm and woke up at 1 am.... and stayed awake till 6 am, doing little more than sitting around and reading.  It's partly (okay, mostly) stress -- I've got this conference paper that I need to give in Chicago mid-November and it isn't even remotely close to being finished, ( Read more... )
